HOME Crazy, young and frustrated with the ways of the world, The Crazoids was a futuristic, early-80's, studio-band, Pop group that reflected upon the quirky sides of humanity as it approached the challenges of the 21st century - created by Multimedia Producer - Jay Moxham, founder @ The Japetus Project. This collection of demo tracks is being 'released' here under the album title of Real World. They are presented here purely in an historical context for posterity's sake and maybe one day they'll be fully professionally recorded. Who knows, maybe some astute record company executive will finally have a vision for them?! However, considering the year and the conditions of the recording, they've lasted well and hence their inclusion on the new Triple J Unearthed digital radio station (even though they were digitally remastered from a high quality cassette master because all the original masters perished). They are being presented here as though Unearthed existed in 1983 and, like many of the bands today who record in their bedrooms, as if The Crazoids could have instantly and easily uploaded and accessed an audience of listeners across Australia and the world. You can explore each individual song on it's own dedicated page in the Songs section, where each track is presented with its lyrics and an explanation of its history, background and recording notes. There is a sub-menu there to navigate through the songs and just select the track from the player. Note: the songs on Real World have been ordered from top to bottom according to basic criteria - the most complete, most commercial and most modern relevance at the top.
