Insect

Insect - was a light, almost Reggae feel, reflective song about the mindless terror of becoming a worker bee in the societal hive.

We live our day to day lives without thinking but if you were to see it from the outside and watch it like a movie or play it like a space-game it would get incredibly boring.

The same thing day after day wasting our energy and the planet's energy and resources - for what?

Instead of being trapped in the eternal negative spiral why not find new ways to break free and create something new.

Insect

If reality was a space-game
Think of all the rules to obey
If reality was a space-game
Would you even bother to play?

Controlled and directed
You play out your destiny
Secure and protected
You say "the world does what's best for me".

You're an insect in a concrete hive
Working your way through the nine to five
It seems such a waste of energy
Surely our goal is to set ourselves free?

If you saw your life as a movie
Would you recommend it to friends
If you saw your life as a movie
Do you think you'd stay to the end

Don't you get tired
Of being pushed around?
Aren't you inspired
To break some new ground?

You're an insect in a concrete hive
Working your way through the nine to five
It seems such a waste of energy
Surely our goal is to set ourselves free?

Instrumental break

You're an insect in a concrete hive
Working your way through the nine to five
It seems such a waste of energy
Surely our goal is to set ourselves free?

Set ourselves free - ourselves...
